MISSION CONTENT
Type: External
Parameters: Questioning, possible extended observations.
Suggested Sectors:Sector 1 Any Sector, outside assistance permitted.
Summary:
At 23:00 in Burgas, Bulgaria we received a strange report from one of our local agents. One week ago, two tourists (A Newly Wed Couple, Male and Female, both 28 and from the U.K.) were attacked by an unknown assailant. The female, Mary Lorester, was killed in the attack. Little to no details could be found from the surviving husband, Hal Lorester. Mary Lorester died from anemic shock after having a vital artery struck.
Skip forward to today. Hal Lorester was found in his Hotel at 22:00 face down in the bathtub. Despite nearly drowning, he was successfully secured by our agent and brought to the nearest public hospital. At 23:00 Hal Lorester woke. The cause of this near death is unknown, but given the context of his previous encounter, we cannot rule out supernatural phenomena. To avoid suspicions, we will be sending in a team of Revenants impersonating authority figures to question Hal. Please remain with Hal Lorester for the entire day and night, question in the day and observe at night. Report anything unusual and act if necessary. If nothing supernatural occurs, Hal Lorester will be returned back to the U.K., funded personally by CORPSE.
NOTE: Due to recent Legion incursions, we lack the ability to outfit a full contingent of CORPSE operatives. As such, the ECA (Exterior Contracting Act) has been enacted for this mission. Non-CORPSE contractors may be accompanying you on this mission. It is safe to assume that these contractors are fully aware of any and all supernatural threats, Discreetness is not required.
Please respond if you accept this mission. The mission shall begin tomorrow (1/4/20), but may begin sooner if enough participants join.
